As part of my proper on-going professional self-monitoring and administration I attend regular supervision sessions with a qualified colleague. This is in line with the industry best practice.
Since 2008, I have been providing support to teens in educational, NHS and residential care settings. During this time, I have gathered a variety of tools to support young people ranging from Cognitive Behavioural coaching to offering more creative play tools. I often support those who are waiting on a CAMHS waiting list or their problems are not considered severe enough. Sometimes CAMHS approach me directly or I work in a triage with a psychiatrist and a GP to offer a wrap around approach
