Counselling and psychotherapy services
Counselling and psychotherapy services with me address difficulties in relationships, emotional wellbeing and family life. Couples therapy explores conflict and closeness; teen support gives young people time to explain their own experience, with parents involved alongside the work where helpful. I also work individually with adults and children, support parenting and adoptive families, and provide clinical supervision. Drawing on over 20 years in practice, I consider which approach fits the people involved and what they need help with. Appointments are in Brighton and online where suitable.

Choosing where to start
Couples therapy and teen support are my two main areas of work. My other services reflect the people and families I’ve worked with during more than 20 years in practice.
You may recognise what you need immediately. If several descriptions sound relevant, we can discuss the difficulties you want help with before choosing an approach.
Couples and individual adults
Couples therapy
For partners who want to understand repeated conflict, rebuild closeness or think through a change in their relationship. We look at what each person brings to the difficulty and how you can respond differently.
Explore couples therapy →Adult counselling
One-to-one appointments for anxiety, low mood, bereavement, stress and patterns you keep returning to. There is time to consider what has led you here as well as what you need now.
Explore adult counselling →Children and families
Teen support
I meet teenagers individually so they can speak openly. Parents can be involved alongside that work, with privacy and its limits discussed at the beginning.
Explore teen support →Child counselling
Talking and creative work to help younger children express feelings they may find difficult to explain. We consider what is happening at home and how parents can support the work.
Explore child counselling →Parenting support
Appointments to look at difficult interactions, boundaries and the relationship you want with your child. You can seek support for your own responses without asking your child to attend counselling.
Explore parenting support →Adoption support
Therapeutic support for adoptive families and people affected by adoption, with attention to relationships, loss and the experiences that continue to matter.
Explore adoption support →DDP
Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy is an attachment-focused approach involving children and their parents or carers. I hold Full Practitioner Status in DDP.

I also provide supervision for therapists working with adults, children and adolescents. We can discuss your caseload, experience and any training requirements before agreeing to work together.
Ask me about the support you need
A free 20 minute chat gives us a starting point. You can explain what is troubling you and ask which service might be suitable.
