Clinical Qualifications in Counselling and Psychotherapy

Qualifications:

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist (Integrative) since 2005.

MBACP since 2005, BACP register since November 2013

Certificate in Psychological Coaching October 2013 Middlesex University accredited course from Centre for Coaching

Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling 2002 at Regents College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling – City University.

Advanced Diploma Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy – School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology Regent’s College (SPCPRC) London Validated by University of Wales (UK) 2004.

Full Practitioner Status for DDP

Work Experience:

Completed the UKCP Child and Proficiency Marker in 2017 to ensure that sufficiently trained to support children

Working as a DDP practitioner in independent practise. Previously worked at Beacon House.

Currently referred to therapist by various residential care homes in Sussex for children and young people e.

Affiliate to a number of health insurers AXA PP, Cigna and formerly working for a number of EAPs including Validium, Right Management, Health Assured, Work Place Options.

Worked in-house for the EAP Ceridian Centrefile as a case manager.

Sussex Central YMCA –Young Persons counsellor role for NHS referrals and in schools setting both primary and secondary. I also held an advisory role in integrated health settings for child and young person assessment.

Teens and Toddlers – Counsellor and Group Facilitator to young women – Educational project rolled out through the country to reduce teen pregnancy.

Rugby House – Post Rehab Counsellor.

As well as a UKCP full member, I am a member of the BACP accredited Register and BABCP.  I am committed to updating my Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in Counselling and Psychotherapy on a regular basis.

As part of my proper on-going professional self-monitoring and administration I attend regular supervision sessions with qualified colleagues. This is in line with the industry best practice.
