Increasingly, I have been experiencing the AI intrusion into our lives whether we like it or not! I am referring to Meta and my WhatsApp that has appeared and I cannot remove it! Psychotherapy sound bites are increasingly adopted by social media and has me wondering whether the value of psychotherapy is increasingly derailed. Given that it took me 7 plus years to achieve UKCP accreditation plus plus plus add on trainings, it feels like therapy appropriation!
As regulation is increasingly being discussed, I find myself saying yes yes yes to this to acknowledge the hard work and tenacity required to complete a psychotherapy training.
